The Cat Lady Exhibition

“There isn’t much fun left living in this world” –  this is the translation titel (originally in in austrian dialect:  “Es is ka Freid mehr auf dera Wölt” ). When I was littel my my grandma expressed this quite often the more weary of life she got. Based on this I created my own vision of myself as an old woman, which climaxes in being eaten by my cats.

For an exhibtion in the underground gallery "Bildetage" I drew my comic in a big scale directly on the walls. For this I dissolved the original narrative and provided adhesive blank speech bubbles and pens, so the audience could interact with the comic and create their own texts & meanings.
